History Q.P.I.

Quality Products International (Q.P.I.) was founded in 1988 by two PCB experts. Q.P.I.'s trademark during the first few years was quality, speed and service.
This is still the case today, although Q.P.I. has greatly expanded its activities and grown into a partner who can support its customers from the first concept right through to the realisation of a complete product. In the early years, Q.P.I. focused on high-quality prototype printed circuit boards.
In 1996 Q.P.I. Electronic Design Automation (EDA) was founded. Q.P.I. EDA is principally active in the field of software support and in the realisation of complex layouts, which make use of state of the art Printed Circuit Board technologies. During 1998, Q.P.I. started the hand assembly of prototype printed circuit boards. With this last step in place, Q.P.I.'s area of activity encompasses the complete development process, from consultation to layout to realisation.
Since 2004 the management of Q.P.I. has been transferred in two steps to Arjan Warnaar. Under his management a subsidiary was opened in Belgium in 2005, in China in 2010 and in 2012 the Swedish company Macer Sweden AB was acquired.
In June 2013 Q.P.I. Circuits and Q.P.I. EDA moved to a premises at the Schootense Dreef in Helmond and start integration of.Q.P.I. Circuits and Q.P.I. EDA into one origanizational unit. From January 1, 2014 both units are fully integrated, using the company name Q.P.I. Group B.V..
On October 1, 2015 has FineLine Global the Q.P.I. Group Holding aquired. The Q.P.I. Group will continue to operate under its current name and its current manager, and sell its products in the Benelux and in northern, middle and eastern European countries, Q.P.I. makes use of its own sales team or sales agents, depending on the support required by the customer.
